ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, Nov. 28 (UPI) -- The Pakistani military said Wednesday it successfully tested its medium-range, nuclear-capable Hatf-V Ghauri ballistic missile.

The Inter Services Public Relations said the liquid-fueled ballistic missile, capable of carrying either conventional or nuclear payloads, has a range of about 800 miles, Dawn newspaper reported.

Geo News reported the test was conducted by the strategic missile group of the Army Strategic Force Command during a field training exercise to strengthen Pakistan's deterrence capability and national security.
