JUAREZ, Mexico, Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Mexican authorities said they are searching for more victims following the discovery of 20 bodies buried at a ranch near Juarez.

The victims, ranging in age from 18 to 40, were asphyxiated, shot or beaten to death, the El Paso (Texas) Times reported Tuesday.

More than 100 state agents, investigators, K-9 units and forensic experts were involved in locating the remains.

All of the bodies have been taken to the medical examiner's office in Juarez.

U.S. agents are collaborating with Mexican authorities in their investigation.
