BAGHDAD, Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Bombs in cars and along roads exploded in Kirkuk and other Iraqi cities Tuesday, killing at least six people and injuring dozens more, officials said.

At least four people were killed and 41 others wounded when three car bombs rocked Kirkuk, police officials told CNN. One bomb exploded near an outdoor market, the second went off near a fuel station and the third was detonated near the offices of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.

Oil-rich Kirkuk province is one of the areas most disputed by the Kurdistan regional government and the federal government in Baghdad.

Another person died when a car bomb exploded at the headquarters of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan in eastern Kirkuk Tuesday, officials told IraqiNews.com.

"The car bomb went in front of the PUK office in al-Qadisiya area of eastern Kirkuk," a security official said. "The explosion resulted in killing a person and injuring 12 others."

A car bombing killed one civilian and injured at least six others in Ramadi, capital of Anbar province, IraqiNews.com reported.

In Salah-il-Din, eight roadside bombs were detonated Tuesday, the PUK reported.

"The explosion resulted in casualties and material damages," one official told IraqiNews.com, but did not indicate how many people died or were injured.

In eastern Mosul, a car bomb exploded, injuring five Iraqi soldiers, security personnel said.
