CAIRO, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Dizziness led to former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak's fall as he entered a prison bathroom next to his cell, officials said.

Mubarak fell Monday inside his cell, causing swelling of his knees, thighs and feet, for which he was being treated, al-Masry al-Youm reported Tuesday.

The tumble was the second one within two weeks, a prison official said.

Officials said Mubarak fell after a visit by his wife, daughter-in-law and the daughter-in-law's father. Mubarak's son, Gamal, was with the ousted president when he fell.
