Norwegian killer complains of prison life

OSLO, Norway, Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Norwegian mass murderer Anders Breivik sent a 27-page letter to prison officials complaining of "inhumane" conditions, including a lack of hand lotion.

Among his other complaints: The prison cell he's been assigned has no view and is too cold, the handcuffs he has to wear "cut into his wrists," he is forced to hurry in the morning to shave and brush his teeth, there's not enough butter for the bread and the coffee is cold, Sky News reported Friday.

Breivik killed 77 people in a bombing in Oslo and slaughter at an island camp for children of one of Norway's political parties in July 2011.

He is being held at the maximum security Ila prison largely in solitary confinement, BBC said. Of the prison, Breivik, 33, said: "I highly doubt that there are worse detention facilities in Norway."
