BELGRADE, Serbia, Oct. 30 (UPI) -- U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton were in Belgrade Tuesday to meet with Serb leaders.

Ahead of the visit to Serbia's capital, Ashton's office said the visit was an opportunity for the leaders to discuss reforms and integration into the European Union, B92 reported.

Clinton and Ashton had meetings scheduled with Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic and Prime Minister Ivica Dacic.

Right-wing organizations conducted a peaceful protest Monday, while Serb Radicals said another protest would be held Tuesday, B92 said.
