ALEXANDRIA, Egypt, Oct. 19 (UPI) -- Security forces have rescued three survivors from a three-story building in Egypt that collapsed Friday, but continue to search for at least four others.

The collapsed building was located in Alexandria, Middle East News Agency reported.

Officials said the collapse was not due to a 5.3 magnitude earthquake that shook the city early Friday, but was probably caused by the unlicensed construction of a nearby building.
