Yasser Muhammad al-Atal, a member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine's general command, was killed and another person was injured in an airstrike Sunday morning, Palestinian media reported.
The army said an aircraft hit a terror squad in southern Gaza preparing to fire rockets into southern Israel.
On Saturday night, two suspected members of an al-Qaida affiliated group were killed in an airstrike after rockets exploded in the western Negev, the army said.
Palestinian media reported the two were riding a motorcycle when they were hit.
The army said Hisham Saidani, 47, suspected in a series of terror attacks against Israel, was killed. Saidani was allegedly planning a complex attack against Israel along with militants in Gaza and Salafist operatives in the Sinai, the army said.
The Lebanese newspaper The Daily Star said Fayek Abu Jazar was also killed in the airstrike.
More than 500 rockets have been fired at southern Israel since the beginning of the year, the army said.
