Neighbors complain of smell, San Francisco bacon restaurant shut down

LAGOS, Nigeria, Sept. 30 (UPI) -- Nigerian officials said a hydraulic problem was behind Saturday's emergency landing by a Qatar Airways jetliner at the Lagos airport.
The Airbus A330 touched down at Murtala Muhammed International Airport without incident and was towed to the gate where the 248 passengers deplaned.
The (Nigerian) Guardian said the passengers did not speak to reporters but were seen hurriedly making mobile phone calls to family and friends.
Airport officials said the Qatar pilot had radioed a distress call during the flight from Doha stating he had blown a tire and had low pressure in the landing gear.
Several fire trucks and ambulances were at the airport when the plane landed, the newspaper said.
