Dad who drowned sons gets death penalty

ROME, Sept. 15 (UPI) -- Police say they think they've uncovered a "rent-a-gun" business in Rome catering to a criminal clientele.
Police said they discovered guns, ammunition and more than 250 grams of hashish in a basement in Rome's Primavalle neighborhood, the Italian news agency ANSA reported Friday. The large amount of ammunition led investigators to conclude the cache was part of a weapons rental business.
They said they were looking for a 43-year-old Rome man with a history of robbery and weapons possession.
Authorities said they were conducting ballistics tests to determine whether one of the guns seized was used to kill a 37-year-old man, Marco Zioni, in the nearby Montespaccato neighborhood in February, ANSA said.
