Norwegian power workers stranded, rescued

OSLO, Norway, Sept. 11 (UPI) -- Two Norwegian power workers escaped injury Tuesday after spending the night stuck in a basket high above a fjord.

A rescue team was able to get a ladder to the men, who climbed down to a waiting Red Cross boat stationed below in the Innvik Fjord in western Norway.

"Both of them made it down and are doing well in the circumstances. They managed to lower themselves down but were fairly cold by the end," Holme said.
