Turkey nabs suspect in military bus attack

SANLIURFA, Turkey, Sept. 4 (UPI) -- Turkish police killed one terrorist and detained six others in connection with a roadside bomb attack last month that killed two soldiers, authorities said.

The two soldiers died and 11 people were injured when terrorists from the Kurdistan Workers Party, known as the PKK, detonated a roadside bomb when a military vehicle passed by, Today's Zaman reported.

Gov. Celalettin Guvenc of Sanliurfa province said interrogating and fingerprinting one of the detainees indicated he was a main perpetrator of the military vehicle attack.
