6.4 earthquake shakes Indonesian islands

TERNATE, Indonesia, Aug. 26 (UPI) -- A 6.4-magnitude earthquake Sunday afternoon struck off Indonesia's Moluccas islands, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The earthquake's epicenter was located about 105 miles northwest of the eastern Indonesian island of Ternate, a release from the USGS said.

No tsunami warning was issued.
