Power lifter Omar Sami Qaradhi, 31, was charged with two counts of sexual activity with a child, one count of sexual assault against a woman and one count of voyeurism, court documents read during a hearing in Coleraine Wednesday indicated.

A charge of sexual assault against a woman was filed against power lifter Motaz al-Juneidi, 45.

Officials charged trainer Faisal Hammash, 35, with two counts of causing a child to engage in sexual activity.

The International Paralympic Committee said in a statement the athletes and trainer were out of the competition and have returned to Jordan, CNN reported.

During the hearing, a Jordanian official said the men would be returned to Northern Ireland for future court appearances.
