Woman allegedly strangles man with bra

ULAN-UDE, Russia, Aug. 21 (UPI) -- Russian authorities have accused a Siberian woman of strangling her elderly neighbor with her bra after he refused to give her money to buy liquor.

The 26-year-old faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted, the Russian news agency RIA Novosti reported Tuesday.

Police said the woman's male companion, who allegedly witnessed the attack, might also face charges.

An investigation was ongoing.
