He and his 33-year-old daughter allegedly knowingly spent money obtained by illegal means, police said. ThinkSpain reported the man also made regular bank transfers into his daughter's account.

Although the Social Security office does not have records for the account from 1992 to 1997, the man allegedly took $103,470 between 1997 and 2011. Officials expect the actual total he took to be higher.
