O.J. Simpson's ex-girlfriend says he threatened her, compared her to Nicole

VATICAN CITY, July 27 (UPI) -- Pope Benedict XVI met with Vatican officials investigating what has become known as the "Vatileaks" scandal to thank them for their work, officials say.
The Vatican said the meeting was held Thursday.
"Benedict thanked them for the information received and invited the Vatican magistrates to continue working with diligence," Vatican spokesman the Rev. Federico Lombardi said Friday.
The pope's butler, Paolo Gabriele, is under house arrest, facing a charge of leaking confidential documents.
The documents involved include letters from Carlo Maria Vigano, who was deputy governor of Vatican City and is now its ambassador to Washington, to Benedict and the Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, the secretary of state.
