12 killed in Brunei helicopter crash

ULU BELAIT, Brunei, July 21 (UPI) -- A Brunei helicopter crashed in the southeast Asian nation, killing 12 military officials who were returning from training, authorities said.

Two survivors were taken to the hospital after the Friday crash, CNN reported .

The defense ministry said the Bell 212 helicopter, which had been headed for the capital, Bandar Seri Begawan, crashed in Ulu Belait in the western part of the nation, the BBC reported.

All those aboard the helicopter were accounted for.

Officials did not give a cause of the crash.
