MIDDLESBROUGH, England, July 17 (UPI) -- A body found on a farm in northern England has been identified as that of a prostitute who vanished at age 19 in 2002 in Middlesbrough.

The last known view of Rachel Wilson alive was captured by a security camera at about 2:30 a.m. May 31, 2002, The Northern Echo reported.

The body was discovered about three weeks ago in a shallow depression on a farm on the outskirts of Middlesbrough in North Yorkshire. Police said no clothes were found, and the cause of Wilson's death is unknown.

Cleveland Police are investigating Wilson's death as a homicide.

Wilson's mother, Tina, appeared at a news conference with police officers. She appealed to the public for help finding her daughter's killer.

"I am asking for somebody that knows what happened just to come forward and tell us what happened to Rachel," she said.
