NATO service member killed in attack

KABUL, Afghanistan, July 14 (UPI) -- A NATO service member was killed in an attack by militants in eastern Afghanistan Saturday, officials said.

The International Security Assistance Force did not provide further information on the attack or the nationality of the soldier, Khaama Press reported.

At least 238 NATO-led coalition security forces have been killed in Afghanistan since the beginning of 2012, Khaama Press said.
