Russian plane makes emergency landing

NOVOSIBIRSK, Russia, June 24 (UPI) -- No one was injured Sunday when a Russian Boeing 757 airliner made an emergency landing in the Russian city of Novosibirsk, officials said.

ITAR-Tass said preliminary information indicated the plane's left engine malfunctioned.

The flight with 163 passengers was on a flight from the Russian city of Yekaterinburg to Hanoi, Vietnam, the report said, when it made the emergency landing.
