MOSCOW, June 1 (UPI) -- Russia's mobile ballistic missile launchers are being equipped with advanced camouflage to help cover their tracks, a Russian official said.
Defense Ministry spokesman Vadim Koval said the new camouflage systems can also erase tracks on the ground and create false trails to mislead the enemy, RIA Novosti reported Friday.
Koval said the Teykovo ballistic missile site in Russia's Ivanovo region will be equipped with the new technology by the end of the year. The Irkutsk and Novosibirsk units in Siberia will be next on the list, he said.
