KARACHI, Pakistan, May 20 (UPI) -- Renowned Pakistani actor Ibrahim Nafees died Sunday at the age of 72, after a nearly monthlong battle with infection, doctors say.
Geo News reported Nafees passed away Sunday during treatment in the hospital where he was admitted April 28. He suffered from various infections. He had lost his vision two years ago after an injury, Dawn News reported.

Nafees was born in Agra, and got his start on Radio Pakistan in Hyderabad. He went on to appear in more than 300 stage productions, and later, starred in more than 250 films and television productions.
