Russia: 10 protesters arrested

MOSCOW, May 19 (UPI) -- Russian police arrested 10 opposition protesters in central Moscow Saturday, officials said.

ITAR-Tass reported police detained about 10 protesters in Stary Arbat street for public order violations. Officers took them to a police station for "administrative proceedings," the press service of the city interior said.

Police broke up an opposition camp in another area, forcing them to move to Stary Arbat, the report said.
