Escort denies Strauss-Kahn allegations

PARIS, May 13 (UPI) -- A Belgian escort says her colleague's claim that she was raped in a Washington hotel by French politician Dominique Strauss-Kahn was untrue.

Auriele Dalvaulx told Le Parisien this weekend that she was in the same hotel room during the alleged 2010 incident and disputed the other woman's claims she was assaulted by Strauss-Kahn while another man held her down.

Radio France Internationale said Sunday that Dalvaulx called the allegations "complete rubbish."

"If she had really said clearly 'no' I would have intervened," Dalvaulx told Le Parisen. "If anything like that had happened I would have done whatever was necessary."

Dalvaulx said she did not hear the other woman, identified only as Marion, protest nor did she see her being restrained. "She is a big girl, she knows what to expect at these evenings," Dalvaulx said.

Strauss-Kahn's political career was undone when a hotel housekeeper in New York accused him of assaulting her while she was cleaning his room.
