BAGHDAD, April 27 (UPI) -- At least eight people were killed when two bombs went off at a cafe in the Iraqi province of Diyala, authorities said.

An estimated 15 others were injured, the BBC reported Thursday.

A suicide car bomber set off the first explosion and the second blast went off inside the coffee shop, officials said.

No one had yet claimed responsibility for the attack, which came a week after a series of bomb attacks killed at least 35 people and injured about 100 others in several Iraqi cities, the BBC said.
