5 killed in helicopter crash in Romania

OSTROV, Romania, April 27 (UPI) -- Authorities said they were investigating a helicopter crash in Romania in which five Ukrainians were killed.

The Kamov-32 helicopter, which crashed Thursday near Ostrov in Tulcea County, Romania, was one of two en route from Chisinau to Turkey to extinguish a fire, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleksandr Dykusarov told Interfax Friday.

Five people were aboard each of the helicopters, he said.

The helicopter that crashed was owned by a private Moldovan company.
