Turkish ministry documents hacked

ISTANBUL, Turkey, April 20 (UPI) -- A socialist group calling itself "RedHack" broke into the Turkish Interior Ministry's Web site and downloaded all the documents in its system, officials said.

The site's content substituted the Guy Fawkes mask-wearing character "V" from the film "'V' for Vendetta" alongside a picture montage of Interior Minister Idris Sahin with the caption below, "Red resistance against the imam's green army," Hurriyet Daily News reported Friday.

Wording above the visual was, "Do you love us?" written in apparent reference to Sahin's forcing of an elderly Erzurum villager to dance, proving he loved the minister.

Another message RedHack left on the ministry's Web site said: "It is now your turn to dance, Idris! If you are buying yachts and houses with our taxes, then you should prove to us that you love us."

The group accused Turkey's Justice and Development Party of spreading ignorance and fear, and warned they would release all the files they had downloaded if "the minister kept jailing innocent people on charges of being a RedHack member."
