Four Americans likely dead in Afghanistan helicopter crash

KABUL, Afghanistan, April 19 (UPI) -- Four Americans likely were killed Thursday when their Black Hawk helicopter crashed in bad weather in southern Afghanistan, a U.S. military official said.

"We cannot yet rule out enemy action," the official told CNN.

A second helicopter in the area was able to land safely after the crash, which was witnessed by troops waiting to be picked up at a combat outpost, CNN said.
