Dead infant found alive in morgue

BUENOS AIRES, April 11 (UPI) -- A premature infant declared dead by doctors in Argentina was found alive in the hospital morgue 12 hours later by his mother, officials in Chaco Province said.

Analia Bouguet said she went down to the morgue to say goodbye to the dead infant but saw him move as soon as they opened the drawer, Todo Noticias television reported.

The infant was immediately returned to the neonatal unit by a hospital employee.

Bouguet said she planned to take legal action against the hospital.
