3 coalition troops die in Afghanistan

KABUL, Afghanistan, April 4 (UPI) -- Three coalition service members were killed Wednesday when a roadside bomb exploded in northern Afghanistan, the International Security Assistance Force said.

The ISAF notification on its Web site did not have details about the troops' nationalities or the incident.

Khaama Press reported several people were killed and injured in an explosion near a convoy of ISAF troops in Maimana in Faryab province.

Provincial health officials said at least five people were killed and 26 were wounded in the explosion.

No one has claimed responsibility for the incident.
