The temblor led Chile's national emergency agency to request a temporary evacuation along the coast between Concon and Lebu, The Santiago Times reported. The request was lifted after reports came in that there was no sign of a tsunami, the newspaper said.

Another earthquake, measuring 5.1-magnitude, had been recorded in the Santiago region Saturday.
