Roadside bomb kills 3 in Pakistan

BARA, Pakistan, March 17 (UPI) -- A roadside bomb in the southwestern Khyber Agency region of Pakistan killed three people and injured two Saturday, officials said.

The remote-controlled bomb exploded as a passenger car passed near the town of Bara, Dawn News reported. Three women were killed while two were severely injured.

The two survivors were taken to the nearest hospital.

Security forces were investigating the bombing.
