15 dead in China bus crash

TAIYUAN, China, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- A tourist bus plummeted into a ravine, killing at least 15 people, local authorities said.

The 9:25 a.m. Saturday accident occurred in northern China's Shanxi province, Xinhua News Agency reported.

The 35-seat bus was carrying 34 people from Henan province to Jinzheng City, the news agency said. The driver and 18 passengers were injured, including two listed in critical condition and 12 with serious wounds, authorities said.

The cause of the crash had not been determined, Xinhua said.
