JERUSALEM, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Israeli military jets attacked targets in the northern Gaza Strip early Friday in response to the firing of rockets at Israel, officials said.
Air force jets attacked two targets in the northern Gaza Strip, Ynetnews reported.
An Israeli military spokesperson said the jets carried out direct hits on the targets, adding that the strike came after Israeli forces blocked one attempt to fire a rocket from northern Gaza.
Two Palestinians were reported to be slightly injured in the attack in Gaza. No other injuries or damage was reported.
