PARIS, Jan. 19 (UPI) -- Anne Sinclair, editor of the French version of Huffington Post, says her husband, former IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn, will be treated like everyone else.

Le Huffington Post goes live Monday, Radio France Internationale reported. In an interview with the magazine Elle, Sinclair said she sees no conflict of interest between her marriage and her new job.

Strauss-Kahn resigned as head of the International Monetary Fund after he was charged with raping a hotel housekeeper in New York. Those charges were later dropped and he has avoided criminal prosecution in France for alleged sexual misconduct.

"It goes without saying that we will run the news stories which come up whatever they are," Sinclair said. "I'm not saying that in such a case that I would do the story myself, but it would be done, and done in the most professional manner possible."

Sinclair left her job as a television journalist in 1998 when Strauss-Kahn became French minister of finance.

Le Huffington Post is the first foreign-language version of the Huffington Post, a news Web site founded by Arianna Huffington.
