TEL AVIV, Israel, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Two Palestinians allegedly plotting an attack in Israel were killed in an Israeli air force strike in Gaza early Thursday, the army said.

The army said the two had planned to attack Israeli civilians and soldiers.

Adahm Abu Salmiya, a spokesman in Gaza, said two people were killed when a missile struck their car in Gaza city, the Ma'an news agency said.

The two were identified as Issam Subhi al-Batsh, a member of Fatah's al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, and Subhi al-Batsh, a member of the Hamas military wing's al-Qassam Brigades, the agency said.
