ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari traveled to Dubai to visit his children and undergo medical tests, his spokesman said.

Zardari left Tuesday with his team of doctors, DawnNews reported, quoting presidential spokesman Farhatullah Babar.

The state-run Associated Press of Pakistan quoted Zardari's personal physician as saying the medical tests would be routine and were linked to a previously diagnosed cardiovascular condition.
