CAIRO, Aug. 2 (UPI) -- The detention of 66 protesters who were camping out in Cairo's Tahrir Square has prompted a call for daily marches by Egypt's Alliance of Revolutionary Forces.
The group released a statement Tuesday saying marches to demand the release of the protesters would begin at 10 p.m. each day and continue until the middle of Ramadan, Islam's month-long holy fasting period, the Egyptian daily al-Masry al-Youm reported.
