OSLO, Norway, Aug. 2 (UPI) -- Anders Behring Breivik, accused of killing 77 people in Norway, listed among his demands wanting to be examined by Japanese psychiatrists, his lawyer said.
Attorney Geir Lippestad said several demands – such as the introduction of a new social order -- would be impossible to meet, Dagens Naeringsliv reported Tuesday.
The accused mass killer said he wanted Japanese psychiatrists to examine because he thought they were honorable, Lippestad said.
Breivik, 32, tied his demand to his sharing information about other alleged terrorist cells, Dagens Naeringsliv said. After he was taken into custody, he intimated two terrorist cells were involved.
The more extreme demands that police said they cannot meet are classified as "A" claims, while more mundane requests, such as access to snuff, paper and a computer, are considered "B" requirements.
Breivik, who decried multiculturalism in Europe in an online manifesto, has admitted to making and detonating a bomb in downtown Oslo July 22, then shooting and killing scores of people attending a political youth retreat on nearby Utoya Island.
