SANAA, Yemen, July 26 (UPI) -- Yemen military officials say the suicide bomber who carried out an attack on a military convoy in Aden province Sunday is a Saudi member of al-Qaida.

"The suicide bomber is Turki Saad Mohammed Qulays al-Shahrani, a Saudi national," a military source said.

Al-Shahrani was an explosives expert, the source said.

The suicide attack killed four soldiers and wounded 21 others in al-Mansourah city in the Aden governorate, Yemini news agency Saba reported.
