3 rockets fired from Gaza Strip

GAZA, July 9 (UPI) -- Three rockets were from from the Gaza Strip toward Israel Saturday evening, security officials said.

Ynetnews reported two of the rockets hit open areas in the Ashkelon Beach area and the third landed in the Gaza Strip.

The rockets caused no injuries or damage, the Israeli news Web site reported.

No Palestinian group had claimed responsibility for the attack.
