MADRID, June 24 (UPI) -- Two Spanish teenagers are being charged for circulating nude photos of a classmate via mobile phone messages and e-mail, officials said.

Police have warned teenagers against the practice of "sexting," a term used to refer to sending erotic photos on mobile devices.
The investigation began after a female student took a naked photo of herself and sent it to an ex-boyfriend who began circulating the photo to his friends.
Two other minors have been implicated in the case but have not been charged.
