Police: Radicals bomb Moscow parking lot

MOSCOW, June 9 (UPI) -- Self-styled radicals attacked a parking lot near elite Moscow residences Thursday, destroying 10 cars but injuring no one, police said.

The homemade firebombs destroyed the vehicles in the outdoor lot near an exclusive 30-story apartment building, the Russian news agency RIA Novosti reported.

Police reported nine attackers were responsible, all of whom got away unharmed, the Interfax news agency reported.

No one claimed responsibility for the attack, but police said they believed radicals associated with the anarchist Web site Black Blog, which took credit for an earlier string of property attacks, were responsible for the latest destruction.

The Black Bog site showed an image of three burned-out cars it claimed were bombed in the attack.

Investigators have tracked the perpetrators and plan to arrest them "in the nearest future," a police source told Interfax. He did not elaborate.
