LAGOS, Nigeria, May 4 (UPI) -- A woman tried to smuggle seven pounds of cocaine hidden in candles into Nigeria, authorities say.

Aina Fausat Olanrewaju, 45, was arrested Sunday after flying into Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos from Brazil, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency told the Nigerian Tribune.

The cocaine, with an estimated street value of $193,600, was packed in six large candles that Olanrewaju claimed were meant for religious ceremonies, police said.

The suspect is believed to have been working for a drug cartel in South America. Two other suspects also are in custody.
