14 killed in cafe explosion in Morocco

MARRAKESH, Morocco, April 28 (UPI) -- An explosion at a cafe in Marrakesh, Morocco, Thursday killed 14 people and wounded 20 others, security officials said.

The Moroccan Interior Ministry said the explosion at a cafe in the Jamar Lana area of the Moroccan capital was the result of a "criminal act," the Kuwaiti news agency KUNA reported

Rescuers were at the scene, a popular tourist spot, and an investigation into the blast was initiated, the ministry said.
