DADRI, India, April 16 (UPI) -- A 25-year-old Indian woman died Saturday after allegedly being doused with kerosene and set on fire by her husband and in-laws in a dowry dispute, police said.

Police said the woman, Archana Devi, was fatally burned in the Dadri area Friday night and died Saturday at a Delhi hospital, the Press Trust of India reported.

Devi's father, Prakash Singh, informed police about the dowry dispute and police have registered a case against the victim's husband, Sanjay and others, though no arrests had yet been made, PTI said.
