Colombian landslides, floods kill 6

MEDELLIN, Colombia, April 11 (UPI) -- Landslides and floods have killed at least six people, injured four others and hundreds have been evacuated in Colombia, officials said.

Medellin and Antioquia have endured some of the most serious damage, Colombia Reports said.

Among those who died were Doris Moreno Flores, 20, who was six months pregnant, and her husband, Fabian de Jesus Acosta Moreno, 30, authorities said.

Three children and an adult were injured when their homes were destroyed in a landslide in Antioquia.

The government is still in the process of providing aid and support for more than 3 million victims of the 2010 rainy season, which caused problems throughout the nation.
