KABUL, Afghanistan, April 6 (UPI) -- A convoy of coalition troops was involved in an accident near Kabul, Afghanistan, Wednesday, in which one Afghan civilian died, military officials said.

Shots were not fired in the incident, the International Security Assistance Force said in a release.

Reports indicate one of the three ISAF vehicles in the convoy accidentally struck some civilians who were in the road. Three civilians were injured in the accident.

The wounded were taken by a civilian vehicle to a medical facility and the ISAF patrol left, officials said.
