VANCOUVER, British Columbia, March 9 (UPI) -- Archaeologists were digging at a home in a Vancouver neighborhood, hunting for signs of a woman missing since 1977, Canadian police say.

Vancouver city police said Wednesday the search is expected to take more than a week, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported. The woman's name has not been released by authorities.
